1. Who we are

This website (positiveactivism.eu) is operated by CP WHY NOT, Cholargos, Attica, Greece, within the Erasmus+ project “Positive Activism” (2025-1-EL02-KA152-YOU-000299705). Contact: info@why-not.gr.

2. What data we process and why

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps for security and troubleshooting (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for up to 30 days.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) in Consent Mode to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, so we can report the reach of the project to the European Union and the Greek National Agency. Before you choose, and if you reject, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless signals without identifiers (page, time, type of device); GA4 does not store IP addresses (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). Only if you accept does it use cookies to recognise repeat visits (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Photographs of participants. Images of project participants are published only with their written consent (or that of a parent or guardian for minors). If you appear in a photograph and want it removed, write to info@why-not.gr.

3. Recipients

Hosting provider (Papaki, Plesk, EU) and Google (analytics). No data is sold.

4. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr). Write to info@why-not.gr.

5. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
